MMMM Good...Alphabet Soup is MMMM Good

My mojo froze up in February, brrrrrr. Stuck at home with ice on the roads and I hardly did squat creatively. But March is breathing new life into me. So I want to share a couple of layouts made with a groovy kit I picked up in the Paper Issues Etsy shop. I really enjoyed playing with these cheerful papers and loved the ribbons that Cassie included in the kit. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

These layouts were made primarily with My Mind's Eye's Alphabet Soup and I still have plenty left over for more projects. Yay. And, this is my first layout for nephew #2! So you know I had fun with this one.....

Here's how I did the border on top of the photos:

1. Circles - 1.5 inch and up are the easiest to work with. Punch a few out, I used a Fiskars punch on double-sided cardstock.

2. Ink the circles. This step really enhances and finishes the look you're trying to achieve.

3. Fold the circles approximately 1/4 into the center as shown:

4. Staple the folded circles onto a scrap strip of cardstock. Then camouflage the staples with ribbon, paper, or whatever your creative heart desires.

And that's a wrap!

As always, thanks for stopping by.
