Monday + Echo Park + RAK Winner = A Good Start for the Week

This year is really speeding by fast. Can you believe its almost June? I can't. Time for baseball games, Fort Worth's Concerts In The Park series, musical ice cream trucks, blockbuster movies, and The Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington. Lots of stuff to do.

This weekend I found some time to scrap. I bought two Echo Park collections (Playground & Little Boys) from the Paper Issues Etsy shop and they were calling out for some attention. Playground was the perfect choice for the Punky Scrap #16 challenge using three small photos of my nephew at soccer practice. The pics were taken last October while I was visiting. He did such a good job of listening to his coach and following the rules. I was beaming with pride.

For this layout, I used two Glimmer Mists and Liquitex ink along with a few splatters of yellow acrylic paint. The background paper is the last piece of Bazzill's white dotted swiss in my stash, sure hope I can reload at GASC! Also pulled out the Cricut and cut a few star bursts out of kraft paper (and a frame). The title was made with EP Playground letter stickers applied to black cardstock and cut out.
Products used: Bazzill dotted swiss cardstock white, Echo Park (Kick the Can paper, Tag journaling card, alpha stickers, element stickers), Queen & Co. ribbon, May Art web ribbon, kraft paper, brads, Tsukineko dye ink, acrylic paint, Liquitex acrylic ink lime, Tattered Angels mists (Lemon Zest & Candlelight)

And now its time to announce the RAK winner...drum roll, please....Kate B...give me a buzz with your mailing address, pretty please. Congrats.

That's it for today, thanks for stopping by.
