The Hot Hues of August
Its official, August is my least favorite month (at least in Texas). I find the heat is draining me of energy and creativity. Sorry to be so negative, but I just have to vent. Taking a deep breath...a long gulp of iced tea...visualizing ice bergs...ahhhhhh, that's better.
Recently, my mom found a few old family photos I've never seen. Little treasures and a good reason to scrap. The photo on this layout shows her modeling a two-piece bathing suit in her "tween" years. My grandmother wrote BEVERLY on the border and on the back is a notation explaining this was a fishing trip. Funny, my mom's not the fishing type.
I was inspired by this post on the Pink Paislee blog.
This layout is almost completely Pink Paislee. New, old, and in between.
